About us

Word Porters is Germán and Gastón, a team of translators who are registered in the Buenos Aires Sworn Translators’ Association. Additionally, they have both worked on translation projects of all kinds, which includes translations related to the fields of law and economics, but also the world of entertainment, IT and other technical areas.

Germán is an Interpreter and Sworn Translator with over 10 years’ experience in the industry. He lived part of his childhood in Rockville, MD and has worked in fields related to financial institutions, diplomatic relations and sports entertainment.

Gastón is a Translator, Interpreter, Subtitler and Localization Specialist. He is trained in these areas and has 7 years of experience in the linguistic field, which includes legal, IT-related and scientific translation, and also subtitling of series and multimedia content of all kinds.

A translator is more than just someone who knows two languages. They are well-versed in many areas: grammar, spelling, idioms, technological resources, general knowledge, and a myriad of other elements. Just as you would trust your car to a mechanic or your body to a physician, the best thing to do is to trust your translation to a translator.
